We're making the front garden a little more colorful this summer, and we want your help!
First, pick up a kit at the library starting June 2nd. Each kit contains two rocks and three paint pots with random colors. Paint one rock for our road and one to keep for yourself! Bring completed and dry painted rocks back to the library and drop them off at the front desk. Library staff will seal the paint and add your rock to our road. (Please do not place your rock yourself!) Then, visit the library all summer to watch our Rainbow Road grow!
Rocks will be placed in the garden near the library to the west of the entrance and will be on display at least through August 2nd.
Donated rocks will not be returned and may be used in future library displays. Only rocks donated to the library will be sealed by staff.
Rocks from these kits may not be painted in the library. Please complete this project at home. If you would like to use your own paint, we recommend acrylic paint.
