Children's Services

The Children's Department is home to over 30,000 materials.  Books in print, DVDs, Audiobooks, and eBooks are available for checkout.

Programs are available for children of all ages, including storytimes for preschoolers and toddlers, after school crafts, home school art hours, LEGO club, and family friendly movies.

PLEASE NOTE: While not required, we do recommend masks for all attendees over age 2 at all in-person programming.

Children's programs include:

Storytimes

- Storytime sessions are held every month for kids, featuring books, songs, and activities. Please check the event calendar for specific dates each month.

Crafts and Take & Make Kits

- Crafts for kids ages 5-12 are held once a month at the library. Can't make it to each month's program? Each craft is available as a Take and Make kit at a later date while supplies last! Please check the event calendar for specific dates each month.

Summer and Winter Reading Programs

- Earn prizes for reading during our summer and winter reading programs!

Virtual Programs

Please note: Children under 8 years old must be accompanied at all times by an adult or guardian age 12 or older while visiting the library. Read the library's Unattended Child Policy for details.

Teen Services

The Teen Department has both print and digital materials available for checkout. A dedicated teen space with materials and computers can be found to the left of the Indiana room.

Winter and Summer Reading Programs

Teens are invited to participate in the Winter and Summer reading programs at our library. Come read and earn prizes!

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Want to help plan programs and suggest books in our collection? Need service hours? Come volunteer on our Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! TAB meets once a month for about an hour.
